The short version
ColorUI requires no account, runs no analytics, and shows no advertising. We have no personal data about you because we never asked for any.
What we collect
Nothing about you personally. We do not have user accounts, do not request your name or email, and do not store the colors, palettes, or images you work with on our servers. All color processing, extraction, and conversion happens locally in your browser.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference (light/dark), your most recently used colors, and your working palette so they persist across pages. This data never leaves your device.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs for operational and security purposes (e.g. blocking abuse). These contain a request URL, timestamp, and a truncated IP. They are not used for analytics, are not joined to any other data, and are rotated on a short schedule.
Third parties
ColorUI does not embed Google Analytics, AdSense, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracker. The only outbound calls are to our own API for tools that need server help (for example, rendering a screenshot for "Palette from URL"), and those calls do not include identifying information.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy — the short version is that we set no tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to access, rectify, or delete on your behalf. To clear locally-stored preferences, clear your browser's site data for colorui.io.
