Design principles

One source of truth. Every surface is a thin client over the public API. Improve the API once, every client wins.
No telemetry. No analytics, no fingerprinting, no third-party SDKs. Standard server logs only, rotated and discarded.
Least privilege. Every client asks for the smallest permission scope its functionality requires - and asks for the rest only on demand.
Self-hostable. Every client supports overriding the API base. Run your own deployment, point every surface at it, never call colorui.io again.
Auditable. Pure JS where possible. Zero or near-zero dependencies. No bundled dist. Read the source before you install.
